Possibly one of the most common of the 1970s TI calculators. The TI-30 allegedly had 15,000,000 units manufactured between the June 1976 release and the discontinuation in 1983. This unit was effectively a cost-reduced Texas Instruments SR-40, which it debuted alongside as the introduction to the Majestic Line. My unit appears to be from mid 1978.
This unit is in fully working condition and uses a 9V battery to run the red LED display. I have attempted to repaint the trim to match the original silver used by TI in the 70s via a reference-quality TI-1265.
