This kit came with the dark grey yarn (2 skeins, as usual) and the instruction booklet. Block 10 was pretty easy and is made by a series of double crochet clusters in chain spaces. Block 11 was a little more challenging and is made of these really pretty DC shells and then outlined by more DCs...making a fun diamond pattern. I did have to restart this one after a few rows because it took me a couple of rows to really master the pattern and I wanted it to look perfect the whole way through. Block 12, had a stitch I had never seen before (they call it a “puff stitch”) and I needed to watch the online video to figure it out. Turns out, I was doing it right before I looked it up, but it never hurts to double check! This fence-like pattern is not my favorite, but it was easy to do once I figured out the new stitch. These blocks took me only two days to finish...now I have to wait until March to do more.
