This is my second figure from the recently released wave of new SS figures, and even though this isn’t saying much( since I only bought two) he is the best so far.
I like him more than Dropkick purely from the fact that he has better articulation and better detailing. The head sculpt of Drift is nothing short than fantastic. It’s so detailed that you kind of stop and ask how the hell did they manage to pull if so much detailing in a Deluxe Class figure.
Articulation, while is better than Dropkick, is still lacking for me, specially in the ankles. If he had an ankle tilt then that would be great. Same with wrist swivels as I believe you can get better sword wielding poses with wrist swivels.
Transformation is a tad bit clunky for me but I don’t transform my figures too often so it doesn’t bother me as much.
Overall, while he isn’t the greatest figure from Studio Series, he is definitely the best so far in the new wave. I recommend him if you’re a Drift fan or Studio Series collector.

@CB.Culture same, but it’s still a good looking figure imo. I feel they went with the helicopter mode because they released the TLK mode in the studio Series line. Same with KSI Boss. Like, they used that figure for that purpose so we can get a brand new mode for Nitro Zeus

@PatG101 Yeah it makes since, I just personally have always loved the AoE Drift compared over TLK Drift.

@CB.Culture same, wasn’t a huge fan of the red color they gave him
