Ancient Mew was one of many Unnumbered Promotional cards. It was given out in the United States and eventually worldwide with the purchase of a ticket for the theatrical run of Pokémon The Movie 2000: The Power of One.
The Japanese version was included in the movie pamphlet which was only available to purchase at theatres in Japan during 1999. The 1st prints of the card featured the Nintendo (Nintedo) error which was later corrected.
Ancient Mew is a Basic Psychic type which deals 40 damage and takes up to 30 hit points. It has a retreat cost of 2 and no resistance.
It is one of the most unique cards in the Pokemon TCG and is the second to appear in an anime. The first being Dark Primape in a Japanese episode.
