The 1998 Unnumbered Promotional Japanese Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise cards were part of the "Please Trade Campaign" that ran from February 10th to July 31st 1998 in Japan
Participants were required to mail a flyer included with the copies of the Trade Please card by Suzukisan (Pokémon rap group) to MediaFactory along with any two Pokémon Trading Cards and a return envelope within the campaign period.
Participants could select a "course"detailed on the flyer by writing in the appropriate space.
The "A Course" included the Charizard and a copy of the Please Trade card.
The "B Course" included the Blastoise and a copy of the Please Trade card.
The "C Course" included the Venusaur and a copy of the Please Trade card.
Media Factory would then send the two cards from the chosen course to the participant completing the trade. These three cards were also included in the Japanese CD (Pokemon Song Best Collection) which was released in January 1999.
These cards are mainly known as Japanese CD Promo's!!
